Has anyone seen sub boxes for the Stinger that load into one of the back corners of the trunk - but isn't a one-off from a local shop? I've seen plenty of rectangles and currently have a sub in a square box but would love to find one that utilizes the corners to help get some of the box volume out of the way. Something like the JL Stealthbox that's 1) for a larger subwoofer, and 2) doesn't have to get hidden behind the carpet.

I'd prefer not to get covered in fiberglass making one myself!

Thanks.

I've not seen a non DIY one that wasn't behind the carpet (Importshark?). Shy of that you're doing it yourself (or paying a shop) and most certainly using fiberglass.

Nobody currently makes one for commercial application. Here are the ones I made in fiberglass and CF. They sound fantastic, and look amazing, but I have like 40-50 hours into making them. I have considered making molds to duplicate them easier, but that may be a next summer project.

Peter Barroti. I need to buy these from you or have you make me a set. How much for you to help me achieve either option?

Maybe next summer brother. I don't have the energy to make another set right now...lol. I will have to make molds to make it easier to reproduce in order to make them at a reasonable cost.

they look great! I would be interested in a box if/when you get to making them!

Would you still be able to still pull up the false floor to get to the spare tire with the sub boxes on both sides?

When you get close to building some let me know. .. I already have a driver to use, (it's a nice wavecore one) I just need an amp and box (I might make an MDF cube as a stop gap) but will probably wait until it warms up before I start wiring.

Exactly how its designed.

What kind of audio equipment do you have exactly? Are those 10 or 12" subs? Did you use a DSP?

I have a JL Audio 12W6V2 that I would like to put in mine that I pulled out of my previous daily driver. It thumps and sounds great. Since there is nowhere to put an aftermarket headunit in the Stinger I was considering either an amp with built in DSP that cleans up the signal coming from the OEM headunit or maybe a JL Audio Fix-86.

I custom built my audio system that I installed behind the seats of my 2017 Toyota Tacoma. Put in two JL Audio 10TW3's, Alpine PDX-V9, and 6.75" Kicker QS components.

Love the install, great job. I am just starting on upgrading mine. How did you go about integrating your system into the Stinger's stock audio system. I have the Harmon Kardon 15 speaker system with the external amp.

This looks like it'll be the next must buy item from a forum member! Definitely interested if this ever becomes a available.
