My GT has continental Contisport contact 5 instaled, last week passed trough a pot hole and bot passenger side tires were damaged.....it didn't feel that hard, but still both damaged. I'm having a hard time finding the spares, apparently they don't have them available in all Mexico....they only have the run flat versions... I found some simmilar tires to be able to come back home, but they are not exactly the same

The front original is: Contisport Contact 5 225 40 R19 93Y, the only spare I could find was 93V
The back original is: Contisport Contact 5 255 35 R19 96Y, the only spare I could find was SSR (Run flat).

I dont know what to do, I guess I could keep the front one, but I've heard it is not good to mix run flats with non run flats
Any suggestions? some tire dealer told me that Contis were known to be easily damaged, so I might do better with Yokohamas or Pirellis..... again...any comments?

Yeah don't do that. Your dealer cannot source tires for you?
My problem was out of town, so the local Kia dealer told me 3 business days to get them....so I searched on my own, and found out that the ones I found, were the same that dealer was going to get me since Kia Mexico does not have current stock of the OEM tires. My local dealer told me he will have an answer on waiting time next tuesday

Check the warranty on those tires. Road hazard like that with the tires that new may help you get replacements much less expensively!

No road Hazard warranty in Mexico with those Conits, can't blame them, roads here are rubbish

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Update: Kia dealer has not even an estimated date for Kia Mexico to release these spare tires.....so I have no option but to change all four.
The tire dealer agreed on receiving back the run flat rear and the V speed rating one, and exchange them for 4 sumitomo HTR Z3, does anybody here have experience with such tires?

I would recommend the Michelin Pilot Sport 4, awesome tires....

If you are going to deal with bad roads on an ongoing basis, you may want to consider changing over to 18" rims and any tire brand that IS available in Mexico and fits the car.
Firstly you want to get more air between the rim and the road for added protection and comfort and secondly you want to save the expensive OEM rims from future damage.
This is probably not what you wanted to hear, but I recommend to take the long view...
Good Luck :)
