Fitted Jonny Tig cold air intake. Best cai system I have seen. First 1 with front feed duct work behind bar so draws air straight from main radiator cooling duct. Comes std as hard alloy or you can opt for powder coat black.
11kw at the wheels improvement. Nice Big induction noise on start up and turbo spool on acceleration and blow off on release. Great customer service. Best workmanship you will find. Dyno charts and more pics on Jonny tif Facebook page

I've never even heard of Johnny Tig. They should advertise their stuff here. Is it just a facebook user?

Which pic is the finished product? With the cover Installed is the rest of the filter enclosed, or just the top and side? Have you checked the pipe/box temps after running it for a while? Seems like it might heat up pretty good. The ductwork option looks legit, did you go that route?

This is the first true CAI for the Stinger. Might be worth the $650+ USD if it's completely enlcosed and isn't a complete PIA to mod it to get air from the grille.

3rd and 4th pictures are complete with lid fitted. Others show front intake etc
He has been a front runner in 1/4 mile and total power. He is a tig welder based in Adelaide Australia. Have a look at his page and you’ll see how good his work is. He has had a thread or 2 on here in early days but has been flat out getting cai and intercooler packs ready for sale as so much r&d involved

Thanks for the info.

Did you do the ductwork or did you skip that step? Is it completely enlcosed or open in the back (if lid installed)?

I checked out his website (no FB page) and his work looks legit.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Thanks for all the info Simon.

Another question, did he have to pull the bumper or just the radiator cover to install the ducts?

Yes, the bumper must come off, however, its stupid simple to do. The plastic must be modified to install the duct work. I too am a fan of Mr. JT. Great guy, great product.

The sound this thing makes, puts a smile on my face everytime.

I was talking to Jonny on FB for a while about his CAI but it was about $200-$300 to ship it here. The cost would’ve been around $800 USD for everything. But he was telling me he was trying to get freight cost down. His stuff looks awesome.

Sheesh, 2-300 to ship would be a deal breaker for sure. And I'm on the east coast so I'm sure I'd be on the higher end of his estimates.

Those guys do legit work. I have been following their development of the Stinger for a while, I wanted to purchase the intake but just the shipping alone made it too expensive.
This intake does require some work to get it installed, as it replaces the factory intake tubes on the front with their own, but it is the first true CAI for the Stinger.

I’ll ask Jonny today about cost of freight to the US and let you know

I actually emailed him a couple of hours ago. I'd still consider getting it if cost can be kept under $800.

I wish there was more information about his work on the Stinger on this forum - keep us posted!

Sounds like a prime candidate for a group buy to save on shipping.
Would just need someone stateside that could take a pallet shipment, break it down, and parcel ship on this side of the pond.

Ehhh, not sure that it would save that much money though, and it would likely take a month or more on a container ship...

Consider myself interested.
