Getting my 2020 Stinger GT Limited tomorrow. Been looking at Cold Air Intakes. My question, is regards to hot air uptake. With the amount of heat these engines produce is it not an issue? The Injen CAI interests me as it points directly at where the air comes in. Though i have seen ones that sit over the stock box, which i assume is to supply cold air as well as prevent water getting on the cone. Would water not be an issue for the Injen CAI?

BMS intake retains the factory airbox bottom for cold air ducting and heat isolation while removing the restrictive airbox top allowing much more overall flow.

There is lots of information on this forum about intakes. Some searching will serve you well!

Heat is definitely an issue so i'd recommend an intake with some shielding. My preference is the DIY method with heat shields or the AEM intake kit. Water won't be an issue with any setup.

Also look up snorkels, a fellow forum member by the name of Rakker makes some bigger mouth snorkels compared to the competition.

The AEM does look interesting, though even with the sheild, not sure how it prevents the heat. Under the hood gets rather toasty. Think i may just replace the stock filter with a KN or similar.

AEM's use the factory intake location, with snorkels should be even better.

Which MBRP exhaust did you you with? Is an easy install or you pay to have it done?

Stainless steel, installed it in my driveway with a buddy to help.
