3.3TT Cleaning reuseable filter

Heyyyyy all.
I bought a BMS CAI used. The filters are pretty dirty. Anybody use anything else to clean like diesel, carb cleaner, etc?
I'll buy the special stuff if necessary, but would like to know if there are other options.
Having a hard time finding the right size elsewhere and I work on the road, so don't have time to wait for shipping from BMS

I believe most of those specialty cleaners are just light solvents, which make things easier if your filters are oiled.

You can also plunge it into warm soapy water, work it around a bit, rinse and dry. This should really be all you need if your filter isn't oiled.

Thanks. I broke down and bought the stuff. Pretty much need the oil anyway..
