Thanks. Yep, trim is wrapped in gloss black vinyl.
How much did the purple wrap cost you?

I never really thought to personalize a car. It is a car, just a car. I suppose I could have my forum name "stung cb" painted on the door.I look forward to seeing how you personalize your Stinger.![]()
Did you hate the look of chrome back in 1968 ??I'm an old guy (68) and I hate the look of chrome. I don't think its an age thing as much as it just personal taste. No right or wrong, you do you and I'll do me.
I luv my Stinger and all its chrome and brushed aluminum. I wouldn't have bought it if it was all blacked out. You are so right regarding more raw character in a muscle car. I'd have another in a heartbeat but I'm out of garage room and it wouldn't do well in the snow.If you like the chrome, then all the power to ya! Funny to me that you would own a Stinger. So much more raw character from the old muscle cars!!
Wrap
Very happy with my chrome delete. Got tired of all the water spots while maintaining too.
Some before and after shots...
Im in Socal as well. Which shop did you use?$600. That included side mirrors, window trim, front grilles (including bumper removal), side brake vents, the thin pieces on the front vents and hood vents and amber delete on headlights.
I like chrome on old cars, but for some reason, I absolutely HATE chrome on new cars outside of 1) headlights 2) exhaust tips and 3) wheels. The dark chrome on Stingers and G70s just looks cheap to me.I'm an old guy but, when did chrome become a no and the all black Mad Max look take over?
One more time......I'm an old guy (60's muscle car days) Only those who had bad interior/exterior trim or corroded, rusty wheels would paint them black. Chrome, polished alum. or mags were king back then. Long live the King.
Endless Autosalon in Murrieta. 26015 Jefferson Ave. Suite C. Highly recommend them.Im in Socal as well. Which shop did you use?

Did you do a wrap for your chrome delete? I want my black stinger to be blacked out just like this but not sure whats best to do for the chrome delete and yours looks really good! While not silver, here's chrome delete on black.View attachment 38818
Damn this thing looks good! How much did all of this cost you? I think i'm going to do the exact same thing to mine now! And did you just use a local tinting shop?Sorry for the delayed reply.
Yes, I used gloss black on all of the factory "chrome" trim. Powdercoat was used on the wheels and exhaust tips. The wheel caps were also painted and the lenses were all done in a charcoal candy then cleared. Here are some other angles.View attachment 41784 View attachment 41785 View attachment 41786 View attachment 41787 View attachment 41788
What method did you use?I blacked out all the chrome and am very happy with how it turned out. The idea of satin gray in some places though doesn't sound bad at all.
