Stinger Family,

I have had some recent changes and will be leaving the car scene, with plans to increase travel and outdoor adventure. I have a gently used SSR cold air intake set-up that I will be removing from the car. The pipes are powder coated red (pictures available on request and will be uploaded later). For those that are not familiar, these pipes relocate the intake to the space in front of the radiator. Is anyone interested in a purchase? Either respond to this post or DM me if interested and we ca discuss pricing.

Hi Jeff. What price do you have in mind for these intakes?

Initially, I paid $630 for these. I am looking to get $350 plus shipping.

How easy is it to install and remove when it's time for KIA service?
You have to remove the bumper to remove the CAI and then the piping from the inside of the car to the turbos. You would quickly become a pro at removing your bumper :)

Any pics you can send of the setup?
I’ll look for the photos I took during install and take some additional current ones. Will have to be tomorrow, as I’m not currently at home with the car.

Yep… bumper has to come off. Four 10mm and maybe a dozen plastic body clips.

Sounds good. Thanks sir!

I searched my external hard drive yesterday... I can't find the photos I took during installation. I'll check a few different storage devices, but I may have lost them since I recently had a laptop fail on me. I can take photos of current installation and then additional photos when I remove the CAI (possibly this weekend, depends on weather).

While I can't find my install photos (suspect they got lost when a laptop recently failed... appears I never backed them up on my external hard drive), here is a link to where I purchased them. They still have photos and video showing sound
Current pics of intakes on car would be helpful. I ordered the LED JA AirScoops a couple weeks ago and am waiting on them to be shipped. Looks like it would have to be either those or these intakes as they both mount to the same place right behind the grille.

Sadly it would either be better performance or better car visuals unfortunately can't be both.

I'll get some photos today. You will have to forgive the under-hood appearance, I am past due for detailing the car.

As for the ram intakes you shared (JA AirScoops)... this would be in place of those. These intakes locate the air filter in front of the radiator and utilize the OEM pass-through location to transfer the airflow.

Have you ever driven these in heavy rain?

How much would shipping be?

Don't assume that these automatically offer the best performance. They may not.

Apologies for delay… was away from computer all weekend. Yes, I have driven in heavy rain, never had an issue. Would need an address to quote shipping.
