The forum is absolutely great and informative as hell. I just signed up and wanted to drop in. I have had my 19 gt2 since March and a blast to ride. Considering a few mods here and there but nothing too extreme. Any thoughts on the MBRP SS exhaust and is it a DIY project without a lift? Are ramps sufficient? Having reviewed several threads, it looks pretty straighforward. Local shops looking for 300 which sounds a bit high considering the direct fit. No serious problems to mention but for some exterior window molding discolored and creaking noise on driver side. Local dealer ordered parts no questions asked after a 11k service. Cant ask for more in terms of the response and service they offered despite always being skeptical of dealer services and gouging.

I have no suggestions about mods since I have had my GT1 for two weeks. But, I am sure others will have some uncanny insights.

I did my MBRP in my garage on ramps by myself. Pretty easy. Toughest part is just getting everything lined up perfectly so nothing will collide/rattle. I wouldn’t pay someone to do it.

. Good one. In fact, the comments of how unique and pretty the car is has me volunteering 1 mile grocery runs just to get out and cruise with it. Honestly the hood vents are my only gripe.

I appreciate the feedback. I was hesitant to undertake the install but in this recent post, it appears well within my ability. maybe.....

I’ve had it for almost a year and I like it a lot. Some people say there is drone, but I disagree. Maybe a little when you’re on the gas and at really low rpm. Like 1,200, which is rare. It’s not too loud but gives the car quite a bit more sound. It really shines on hard acceleration.

Yes agree 100% the color is very important part of the car, choose the wrong color and the car can look very different and have very different vibes. Thanks but I like the Stinger more than then R8.
