Driving to work today on the highway going about 70 mph and look down at the dash and my check engine light is on and my auto hold button is on and the traction and stability turned off. I know I did not hit these buttons while driving but they were on when I noticed the check engine light. Pulled over . Shut the car down for 5mins. Check engine light still on. Took my time driving to work from there. Anyone have any cause to this check engine light ?

You'll have to hook a code reader up to the OBDII port. Most Advance Auto etc will do it for free although I'd recommend buying one anyways. I bought one a few years ago. Has definitely come in handy a few times. I got the Nexpeak NX501 off Amazon. Looks like it's about $70 right now.

Thanks Carl. Appreciate it. I’ll pick one up for cases like this. In the meantime I’ll shoot over to advance auto to see if they can help in the meantime.

So I’m about to go to advance auto to clear the code and the code cleared itself when starting up the car. Weird. I should be good ?

I'd still hook up a code reader to at least find out what the code was as it'll most likely be stored. You're probably ok for now though.
