CF bonnet question

Hi stingers,

can I check. Anyone running on CF bonnet,
I like to ask, will those holes in the cf bonnet cause any issue? Example heavy rain. Will the water go into the engine and cause any rust?
I like to hear ur feedback on this..

does the holes help to cool down the engine??

try searching carbon fiber "hoods" , I think you'll find a few members here that have this mod

Yes, a number of members have the CF hood with "functioning hood vents". But I STILL haven't gotten an answer to the OP's question, either: where does the water go?

We have had a good handful of customers install either Seibon or Ark Carbon Fiber Hoods and we have yet to see any issues with them.

Although the Seibon TS Hood (CLICK HERE FOR MORE INFO) may seem aggressive, the vents are paired with extractors for rain & should not enter your engine area.

Any pics of the "extractors"? I've never seen anything under one of these aftermarket fiber hoods. Thanks.

Thanks. So, if I understand: you undo the collector and empty it? I see no drainage (or "extractor" per se).
