Yeah, personally - I can deal with a small'ish dealer fee to be one of the first around to have something new. Especially when many others are paying quite a bit more...

Actually, it is 78%. A few years ago my dealer tried to add a $100 nitrogen fee. I offered to pay $22 if he could come up with how I arrived at that figure. He couldn't and I didn't.

I was a little sarcastic - it was the Appearance package= door guards, nitrogen, wax for car, mudguards.

That's what is called a "Slam Dunk" in sales weasel terms. Get them to sign the rebate back to the dealer, full ADM joke price. $899 doc fee, so they can buy a new filing cabinet just for your paperwork.

Most don't even put nitrogen in for $1895, not like anyone is going to have their tire air analyzed.

What would you have done if they tried to sell you on a $2000 nitrogen fee? That's what I want to know.

Never even acknowledge the ADM. If they point to the ADM sticker, tell them "I don't even see that"
No cooperation? Go elsewhere. Use the Internet and phone first.

We purchased a 2016 Sorrento in December and ordered the Red GT 2 at the same time. I thought it would motivate the dealer to drop the price on the Sorrento. I had no intention of buying it. My wife loved the Sorrento more than any car we have owned with the exception of a 93 Supra twin turbo I replaced with a Volvo Wagon prior to the birth of our daughter... (Don't SAY IT . . . I KNOW). She loved the Sorrento until the Stinger arrived. Sooooo I sold the Sorrento to my office mate yesterday. I picked up her Yellow Stinger GT 2 on Monday. We got rid of a Volt and an IS 250. Oh . . . and a 2016 Sorrento

I paid 699 dealer fee and 1800 appearance. Leased then bought it out. Total cost to me out of pocket after all was said and done was essentially just under sticker price.
