Centre Console Tray

I received mine a few weeks ago and I like it. Keeps the center console tidy. Added some stinger script to it...kinda cool i think. I don't use the coin slots though. I put the little tray that came with the car under the new tray and I put my change in there. It works

Does this go right to the bottom of the console? Or is there space left underneath the tray?

I just got mine and I’m disappointed it doesn’t fit all the way to the bottom of the console. It hovers above the bottom, which could be cool to hide things but I really don’t need that.
Has anyone removed the lip so that it can drop all the way to the bottom?
