New leaser of a Sunset Yellow Stinger here. Love the car, don't love the paint issue though. Watched a video review someone posted on another post of the car, while the reviewer liked the car for what it was he nit-picked the lack of quality of build - cheap interior materials and that everything squeaks and short cuts taken to save money (lack of aound deadening materials in undercarriage). Never really noticed but started looking and listening after watching that video and alas, found an issue with the side of my center console coming off. See pic. That side panel will not pop back into place as hard as I tried to get it to hold. I'll bring it to Kia and have them address it. Also noticed the infamous tailgate rattle, will get that fixed as well. My build date is 12/17, seems to be the month most of the issues arose?

My GT2 is perfect at 10,000 miles. Nov '17 build date. No squeaks, no rattles, everything fits and works.

quite a few scratches on that center console... what are you doing to it! lol. Hopefully they can fix it.

The Forum attracts all manner of complaints. All justified. But this is where people come to talk about their problems even more than their joys. It is healthy for the soul (no pun intended).

I'm sure that console can be put right. The paint issues: Yellow is the bugaboo, but really, the majority of even the Yellows are fine. I just saw one returned for a trade in on a Sorento yesterday, and the paint is perfect, pristine even. The car has been on the road for four months and I couldn't see a thing wrong with the paint.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
How many miles did the car have on it when you purchased?

Dont recall but less than 200, it was traded to my dealer for a car they had that the other dealer wanted.

Similar story to how I got my Silky Silver: Jerry Seiner phoned around and Doug Smith Kia had one, so they traded, so that I could have my car NOW. :D It worked out beautifully.
