Does anyone else have a creaking center console? It takes moderate pressure to get it to creak. Not sure if this is normal or if there is anything I can do about it.

It seems like its just the construction of the center console rather than an actual defect.

Any thoughts?

your pushing on things to see if you can get a noise out of them? or the creak is while driving?

When my right arm rests on the center console with some pressure it creaks. It does not matter if I am driving or not.

My 2018 does it. Ive just gotten used to it. I usually have music playing louder than the creaks anyway.

ah, that would be the lid only Ima guessing. if you trace the creak to the hinges then some wd40 will knock it out. if the creak is inside the lid itself then your just going to have to live with it or gamble on a replacement, because the stuffing material is likely the culprit. it's also possible that the lid is creaking along its contact points with the storage compartment edges. in that case some grease lightly applied would eliminate the contact friction, some like is used on the door seals.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
My ‘18 does it. I just learned to not lean on the center console. It still creaks slightly when I rest my arm on it
