Cell phone holder placement

there s Android auto there so I just plug via the USB port and leave it in the wireless chargeur spot

I used a garmin drivesmart 65 in the old car (9th gen accord). Here's some pics.

This worked well, was at eye level and reachable.

I'm trying to figure out where to mount this thing in the '22 stinger. It's a bit of a heavier unit, a little over 10oz.

Why do I need a garmin with AA, built in nav, etc..? I do custom routes on the pc, upload them to the gps, then it guides me. My routes involve all sorts of backroads and are about as distant from the interstates as one can get.

I thought I could fit that same mount to the left/right of the 10.25" display, but there's not enough room. I need at least 2.5" diameter of flat space.

I have the A-Tach. Love it. Rock solid. No issues.

A-Tach base mount. You want your phone mounted in front of you almost eye level You don't want to look down only takes one second for a accident

Blocks the screen and a vent... Yeah it sucks.

I'm very happy with this setup. There's access to everything including the silver buttons below (don't let the picture fool you as it's not taken from a seated driver's position).

I have the A-tach mounted on the leftmost vent. The magnet on my phonecase is relatively high up, so it doesn't block the screen. Sits at the perfect position. I keep the climate on Auto, so the main vents hardly ever get used anyways. There's still room for the air to go around the mount though as you can see

Thanks for those pics. That looks quite tidy. What brand is that mount?
Thanks! The brand is called Trianium. Picked it off Amazon. I would post the link but my account is still new and doesn't let me post links.
