Hi all,
Thought I would share my mounting solution for the driver side/CCV catch can. I was doing my best to limit the amount of extra plumbing, and in the end I was able to simply replace the hard line between the CCV and the driver side intake and use its mounting point to secure the can with a small T-bracket from Amazon. Shout out to Tork for the inspiration.
The OCC I used is the JLT 3.0 Stinger kit, which is intended for PCV side but works very well on the CCV side with minimal modification. I left their inlet side intact and connected to the CCV line; it was nearly the perfect length. For the outlet, I replaced their included elbow with a 3/8" NPT straight 1/2" barb and connected that to the line leading to the intake. The final additional piece I needed was the angle mount from their universal kit, which I flipped over to meet up with the Amazon T-bracket. Terrific service from JLT, definitely great to work with and the quality of the parts is top notch. (I have the same kit on the PCV side, combined with a UPR 0-100 psi check valve and in 600 miles it has collected maybe two teaspoons of nearly pure oil with the exit line being completely dry as far as I could tell.)
Everything worked out nicely with negligible-to-zero tension on any of the plumbing, plenty of clearance all around, and being completely reversible.
