Catch Can vapor smells?

I forgot to post it here.. After replacing the o-rings both on the nipples and the bottom section of the can, I no longer have any vapor smells. I'm a happy camper now. I have plenty of extra of the smaller o-rings for the nipples if anyone needs some.

I am still having the smell after replacing the can. I can get down over that area and smell and it is coming up from the catch can. I did notice that when I took the nipples and the small O-rings off the old can and screwed them onto the new can I got metal to metal real quick. i only felt the o-start compressing a tiny bit and then abrupt metal to metal stop on screwing in the nipples. The bottom half of the can seems to be right now as I hit the squish of the O ring and then tightened down some beyond that.

Did you get thicker o-rings for the nipples? Where did you get them?

Everything else seems good, hoses clamps and O-ring on the bottom can between the an half.

The o-rings I got are pretty much exactly the same as what they came with, unfortunately not any thicker..

Again, they looked pretty much identical to the o-rings that it came with, exact same specs, so I don't think it would be an upgrade.

Of course! Be sure to lubricate them with something before installing, so they don't accidentally scratch or tear while you put them on. Also makes them settle better when refitting the nipples and the can body. I assume maybe a silicone based lube would be safest, but I used white lithium grease for mine. They're supposed to be oil and solvent resistant anyway. *shrug*
