I’ve never been to one and was reluctant but I did and was shocked at the response to the Stinger. It had a people around it the whole time and endless questions. Wow

I've been wanting to check out the one here (Seattle)...they start in May. The public response to these cars is fun...if i'm standing next to the car parked anywhere people wander up with questions.

Since the weather has gotten nice here in Iowa, I have been driving my Stinger more. I have gotten a lot of people asking me about the car with who makes it as the first question. So far, everyone has been impressed with how good the Stinger looks.

Who wouldn't love the Stinger, its a refined muscle car with German DNA in it. I also get lots of stares and questions, while I seem to be invisible when I drive my Porsche 981.

I experienced something similar this weekend but was not even a car event. I belong to a small scale outdoor train club. We did an Easter event this weekend. I parked my car down where I was distributing eggs for the Easter hunt.

Both kids and adults were constantly asking about the car as well as looking it over (didn't even have it open) and were taking their Easter pictures with it.

This is really odd to me I've never had a car that got that much attention.

Like that hatch liner you have.
The hatch liner is stock, it came with the car. It is nice but if you have to remove it to get something large in the back it's kind of big and bulky and can be difficult to store in other areas of the car. I do like it alot, gives a nice clean look

Turns out Cars and Coffee Seattle (actually in Shoreline just north) starts in late April if the weather's tolerable. Took the kids up to check it out. Pretty strong interest in the Stinger, a bunch of guys had questions...had to open the hood :) Nice random mix! I'll probably check out the Exotics at Redmond Town Center sometime, but that's a rather posh crowd. Not a huge turnout, but it's early in the season (and chilly). Some pics...check out the complete one-off custom made with a vintage Alfa when they guy didn't realize what he had. Note also the gas tank on the '31 Chrysler...safety first!

So I missed the May and June Cars & Coffee events here but went last weekend to the July one and the Stinger was mobbed again, there were so many people around it nobody parked on either side. One of the first guys that came up to me said he saw my Stinger at the April event and liked it so much he went out and bought one and he's ecstatic with it

Lady told me she'd trade me the SS behind me for our Labradoodle Drake my youngest was having no part of it

Lol, nobody parked next to you. That's hilarious! Kia should hear about this and give you a good will gift for selling cars for them.:thumbup:
