Poor Stinger! Thanks for spotting that news. I didn't even hear about it on the local L.A. news. Since I have to contact CalTrans every year to tell them to clear weeds on the embankment behind our condo complex, I was sad to hear that, according to the fire chief, the "car"nage could have been prevented if CalTrans had properly maintained the brush on the meridian behind the agency property. Grrrr.

Mine may end up looking the same way if kia doesn't fix my rattling roof and clattering vents....
