Anyone that has installed this or even an OEM replacement, I’m wondering if you had any trouble getting all the clips to pop back in.
I have three on either side that won’t go in or immediately pop back out under the stress they’re under.
There are three circles in red on either side showing the orange clips that won’t reseat. The middle of each of those won’t even budge.
It appears as though Element6 after skinning, glues the trim pieces in place to the grill frame. My guess is the grill unit won’t flex enough to fit back into that curve now that it’s one solid unit.
I was surprised to get the old grill out without damaging any clips.
