There's a lengthly comparo of the Stinger, BMW 440 Gransport, and Audi S5 Sportback in the December issue of Car magazine. To me this is the closest competition the Stinger has, though I know there are some on the forum that disagree due to pricing. I know you guys would probably prefer I post pictures of the articles, but between the length (7~8 pages) and my comfort level with abusing copyrights, I'll encourage you guys to go to a book store and check it out if you're interested :)

Of course, if somebody else chooses to post pictures of the article, that's on you. I took a stab at finding it on their website and came up with nothing. So I guess this is mostly just a FYI.

I won't tell if you don't tell....heh. J/K. I'll head over the B&N and buy a copy. Oh who am I kidding I will go and read it there and put it back...lol.

I suspect many people will.

Well, heck! This IS the best comparison! Price is a concern when you're buying but if you're comparing the capabilities of automobiles - these three are a perfect match. So! Tell us! What happened?! How did it go?

BMW #1, Audi #2, Stinger #3. In short, "good, but not great". The authors acknowledge the cost differences, but it didn't seem to factor into the conclusion. Bear in mind the cost difference in Europe seems to be a little smaller than it is here.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Just look who sponsored the test...
ADAC in Germany = VW
VW wins every test there...

Its just nice to be unique and not a sheep ..............around here every second car is German and they have very lttle cache or uniqueness , they all seem to be driving to the lowest common denominator by creating lower tier models and trying to chase price down market .............The Koreans have those segments covered and are now pushing upmarket ...............there are over a Million people living here and I have NEVER seen another Stinger on the road and I've driven as far South as Seattle and as for North as Whistler . I certainly dont miss any of the BMWs I've ever had and think the Stinger is the equal or better than my last BMW 650 ................

I'll definitely take the test results with a grain of salt. At any cost, it's impressive that a Kia is being compared with these vehicles to begin with. So we've got that - even with a test sponsored by a German automobile company. I imagine they didn't want to admit the Stinger was as good as they thought it was...

the tipping point could flatten their position ...................they cant have Korea creep in on their party !
