Car and Driver Ranks Compact Luxury

I test drove a Giulia and Stelvio, even considered buying one, but after a few test drives, I just couldn't get over the brakes. Literally the worst brake feel I have ever experienced. I did like the interior though, and would prefer it over the stinger in the TI trim, except for the HUD which looks like an old pixelated Nintendo game to me. The other deal breaker is the detuning that those cars are going through at the moment for safety reasons which is killing the HP/performance of those cars.

Tork did a video review on their engine at one point and commented on how all of the buildup is on one side of the engine (Quadrifoglio), which I thought was interesting.

That said, I wouldn't turn down an offer on a reasonably priced quadrifoglio.
Sorry off topic , what is your wheel setup?

Their #2 AR Guila.. great car if you can get past it's reliability, bad ergonomics, and interior quality...LOL This is what makes it hard to follow car and driver...wow

The Giulia is recognized universally as a superior handling car at the top of these evaluations. Car and Driver and other mags have been very vocal about its reliability issues and low quality interior for the money. But dynamically, it is impressive. Consumer Reports is the source for rating reliability, at the cost of enthusiasts' interests.

More so than other pubs (even Motor Trend), C/D places a greater emphasis on performance and driving dynamics in how they grade vehicles.

Other publications will weigh things like interior quality/space, design, fuel economy, etc. more heavily.

Don't think any publication (other than CR) incorporates reliability as part of the equation as that's not a known thing (CR does on a predictive basis on past results which can change).
