So, on at least three occasions now, I've apologized to my wife and daughter when they were in the car and, well, I had to GO. LOL

My wife and kids love the go fast aspect. The night I picked the car up I took them for a spin. The nearest highway is about 10 minutes from our place but traffic was especially heavy and it probably took closer to 20. I’ve turned onto the on ramp on to the highway and floored it. We’ve gone from o to WOW in seconds. After playing around on the highway for a bit we headed home. As we fought our way through the traffic again I asked my 16 year old son what he thought of the car. He thought for a bit and said “ The whole time it took to get to the highway and all the time it’s gunna take to get home again was worth it just for those couple of seconds on the on ramp. ‘

I'm on your wife's side (we women need to stick together). I'm sure she's totally tickled by your giving her an excuse to keep the car to herself for a fortnight.

oh, its not that she is tickled, its her car. she allows me to drive. and, i had installed a gps locator for her, so she now uses that to track how fast i drive. plus the uvo curfew alert. which, as a chef, i work late nights. nothing like driving along at 1-2 a.m. and the car telling you that you have exceeded your curfew. scares the bejesus out of me everytime. the mrs is an odd duck.
