I can understand not wanting to pay the dealership for the service, because it's probably ridiculously expensive compared to DIY. I have changed my own filters in my Maxima for many years and the filters were the same price as CT. (Fram, etc). I plan on buying my own oil absolutely, but a point was raised on here that you can bring your parts into the dealership and just pay labour. I will investigate this plan further, since it is more documentation to have on-hand.

I'm only 2,000 KM in, so just starting to research.

edit: I see that you're from T.O. I'm in Niagara. Any info that you have would be quite welcome, since I see that you are a veteran on here.

They are great. I've had them on for the past 43k kms. All good for commuting.

Probably not suited for trackdays.
