3.3TT Can someone check my logs? I run Map 2 on 93.

Threw a CEL (Code P2564) while I had DWP set to 60 for a few drives. Turned it off immediately and have had no CEL since, but I'd still appreciate it if someone could look at my logs.

In the JB4 app, hit "logs" and at the top, hit "don't group logs"
then go into "app settings" then "logging settings" then WOT start threshold" then select 70%.

Once that is complete, go and do a couple pulls from 20 to 100 mph with the pedal on the floor. Find a safe place to do it of course.

Then post those up. Just driving around doesn't show anything useful.

Thanks for your reply! I'll try to get those logs here in the next few days. Rainy day today and tomorrow.

Got it dynod today so I have both the dyno jet logs and the JB4 logs from that.

Making 383 hp and 442 lb/ft of torque at the wheels! (AWD)

Tech said it looks like the torque limiter on the TCU is causing the ECU to pull some timing at higher RPM.

Probably should have just replied directly to your comment but I have my update further down this thread.

@Terry@BMS could I get your eyes on this too? Loving the JB4 so far!

Terry can comment but either you have bad fuel, or your plugs aren't gapped correctly. Did you put in new Denso or HKS plugs and have them gapped at .022? Ign. 2-6 should ideally be showing less than 2.3 timing deviation. looks like some really big corrections at high RPM's. I've always used Exxon 93 octane here in NC and have had good luck, back in the days I ran Map 2.

Terry will hopefully share his thoughts. You could also email him the logs directly as he doesn't necessarily check the forum all that often.

Thanks for analyzing my logs!

Yeah I run 93 from QuikTrip, which I've heard mixed reviews regarding their quality.
I am running newly installed Densos gapped to 0.022.

Thanks for that bit about Terry, I'll probably send him an email.

Solid advice above. All I would add is to refill on quality fuel reset your ECU and try again.

I wanted to update you guys on what was suggested to me by Burger Motorsports.

Set "Future Use A" to 1 (this will change my timing to raw instead of corrected)

I'll get some pull logs going with that setting, and then to compliment that, and when I'm low on fuel, I'll fill up at a higher rated gas station and see if I get better results.

They will be able to read the logs and comment after you do this, although I must admit I don't understand why they would suggest that. But I'm definitely no expert. Look forward to following the thread and maybe learning a bit more. keep us posted on Burger's comments.
