I read up quite a lot on here. I can tell you that "rain guards" are not, unless they also block heat exchange. The one exception I know of won't do you any good unless you can import them from an aftermarket shop in S. Korea. In your searching you'll find it sooner or later (I'm saying that I don't remember which Stinger Forum member posted about these aftermarket hood vents): but if you go carbon fiber they won't work anyway because the rain catch boxes are held on by magnets.
