So, I have a GMC Denali HD 2500 that is worth a couple grand more than the sticker of the new Stinger I want. Problem I am having is the dealer is only wanting to sell at sticker. Anyone found dealers actually coming off the sticker any?

There has been a few that are giving a couple Grand off. See if your dealer will take the Costco discount or get in truecar and see if they can send you to a dealer that will honor their price.

What is the Costco Discount? Anywhere I can see more info on it?

If you are a Costco member they have discounts on cars. You can log on to the Costco site to see what it's about. (Normally I would say it's not worth using and you can work a better deal yourself, but a lot of dealers are playing hardball in the stinger right now.)

My dealer advised today that the stinger was no longer eligible on Costco pricing due to it being a specialty vehicle in limited supply. Not sure if that is smoke as I already have my offer. It was $47,300 after the Costco discount of invoice minus $250.

I have not checked the Costco site again yet.

Best of luck

I call BS. If it's on the Costco site and the dealer is a participating dealer I believe they have to honor it..

Agreed. I just now checked and Stinger is selectable on the Costco program. Perhaps "this" dealer will stop honoring. They already agreed to honor my Costco quote so I have no issues at this point...other than the nonsense items they want to install.

I've been looking at Autotrader and cars.com daily and I've noticed the prices are dropping. Most in my area are no longer listed at MSRP. GT1s in particular are showing some nice discounts.

Yep, i have noticed the same trend. As supplies increase the crazy prices will calm down.

Yup prices definitely coming down, hold out a few months if possible and we'll see even more drop I'm assuming

I'd report them to the Costco program. I got a quote of just over $49k for a GT2, which is pretty much invoice, just yesterday. As for limited supply, most of the Kia dealers around here (Portland, OR) have at least two or three in stock.

Supply in FL is rampant... I have seen 12-20 at most dealerships in the Central Florida area. Still won't work with me. Full price only. I don't get it.

Welcome. I haven't seen a single Stinger on the road in South Florida yet...

They are currently honoring my quote. I checked Costco and stinger still there. Have a feeling he meant their dealership specifically. As long as they honor mine for the sunset yellow gt2...Costco won't be involved. If they retract, then Costco will be engaged by me.

I got a quote from my local dealer on a GT2 just about at the sticker price ($51,400). I went onto the Costco website and they gave me a price about $3,500 cheaper at a dealership 1 hour away. I sent this to my local dealer and ended up getting the micro blue Stinger I wanted for $47,611 in Kennewick, WA.

Glad to hear its working for some from Costco. My original dealer ended up being shady about it so Costco is now involved. I tried another dealer after doing another costco quote and was called by them and said they do not honor the costco pricing on the yellow ones...sigh...here we go again. At least I already have a costco consumer advocate on my speed dial :)
