Doing research, coming from FBO 2012 Hyundai Sonata with Lap 3 Merh tune. Want up my game with Twin Tubo.
Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. I'm glad you found us! You've come to the best place to research the Stinger. :)

Howdy and yes, modders flock here. :D

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Got one. Drove 2.5 hrs to Orlando to get it. Originally from Colorado came with BSM intake cones and billet struts. Drove a 2018 in town, wasn't sure I was making the right move. From my research the 2018 was least desirable and it proved that right. I was determined I had 2 to 2020 GT2 AWD to look at. One in my town, it got sold 2 days before. So off to Orlando.

congrats! fyi, there is a hanger on the gas door to place the gas cap in to prevent scratches on the paint while refueling!

Almost all cars have this....but people rarely use them.

Yep! Our Subaru and hummer don't have one but our BMWs and stingers and lots of other cars have either a cap holder or a hook for the fuel cap hanger the old BMWs had a hole for the cap stem

Every time I put gas in the stinger I worry about the gas door opening. There are numerous reports on the K5 forum about this issue. The kicker is there's no way to manually open it either. Brilliant!

Then I remember that's not a problem here. If it shouldn't open for whatever reason I just need to open the hatch and pull the manual release. Of course, if the hatch doesn't open, then I have problems. LOL.

If the hatch doesn't open fold down the back seats and crawl back there!

Lol. That would be a sight at the gas station.

I don't believe there is a manual override to open the hatch from the outside. Just from the inside.

So one must get the pass seats down from the back seat first. This should be reachable. Then attempt to climb in to reach the manual hatch release. Fun!

tl.dr Don't inadvertently get locked in the luggage compartment.

Congrats on the new car! This will be a big jump in power and options from Sonata. If you ever have questions or if you need suggestions or a discount, please message me and I would be glad to help you out.

Federal law in the US requires an inside trunk/hatch release. This has been the case for many years.

Couple questions, this came from Colorado to Orlando FL where I purchased from Hhgreg, by the suck for dealing with, 1st question anybody on here recognize it, if you look at engine bay there is black duck tape on the duck work by fuse box. Also I hope from the front Pic it looks to be an after market intercooler cause I see welded end tanks. So far this thing is fun to drive as my DD.

The previous owner may very well have put some mods on the car. The area around the fuse box is the popular place to put a JB4. It is easily installed or removed within minutes, so before selling the car, he may have removed it.
The intercooler looks upgraded, but since it is much more work to remove, probably left it on.
