Thats what im doing now, but sometimes something better comes out the day after you click buy or lots of other scenarios. No regrets. I tend to research about something before I buy it.
HAHAHA!!!
all good! I made a post about a week ago that I think had maybe one reply and it was just piggybacking of what I asked lmfao! My last attempt at a post didn't do so well so I hoped the slightly more "clickbait-ish" title would help. I swapped my badges and it was too easy not to do. Elevated the look of the whole car instantly.
How difficult were they to install and how much was the entire cost including parts, shipment, etc?I think one thing I wish I did differently was get sway bars way sooner. Makes a HUGE difference when your driving aggressively in turns. the car stays so much more flat and composed. Feels like I have more grip and I can carry a lot more speed into a corner safely
Front was pretty easy. Would have been easier to do with 2 people because trying to hold it up while getting the bolts in was a little challenging by myself. Rears were a bit of a pain because you have very little room to work on the driver side. you need an 18" ratchet with a 14mm socket. The more teeth in the ratchet, the better. I was moving the bolt probably 1/64 of a turn at a time with my cheap one. I have whiteline sways. I paid around $340 but they are pretty much out of stock everywhere. I got lucky when I found them. Eibach and ARK are around $450 I believe. Mine are currently for sale since I'm selling the car soon wink winkHow difficult were they to install and how much was the entire cost including parts, shipment, etc?
edit: any downside to installing sway-bars on our cars?
Sadly I fear that I will have to get it done at a mechanic shop. I park on the side of the road outside where I live and there is barely enough room to get in and out of the car let alone do any work...Front was pretty easy. I forgot to answer the downsides question so I edited above, but to reiterate, there are none. Its an awesome mod for stingers.Sadly I fear that I will have to get it done at a mechanic shop. Any downside you would say with installing sway-bars on our cars? They're the same as anti-roll bars correct?
Thanks friend!![]()
Aww don't say that, i just ordered 19's lol.Wish I would of configured my wheels in a 20 rather than a 19...
I'm gonna put some freaking meats for my next summer set lol. I love the wheels but just wish it filled the fenders a little more.Aww don't say that, i just ordered 19's lol.
I think 19s look perfect. 20s just look too big to me and also make the brakes look small. I have the stock 18s and they are too small. 19 is what belongs on the stinger. Plus you have les chance of destroying a wheel on a pothole.Aww don't say that, i just ordered 19's lol.
Lower it. It'll look so much better. trust me. Best mod I did to the car was H&R springs.I'm gonna put some freaking meats for my next summer set lol. I love the wheels but just wish it filled the fenders a little more.
I have the car on eibachs now. It probably just needs some bigger tireI think 19s look perfect. 20s just look too big to me and also make the brakes look small.
