Hello all,
Was out and about this morning heading to local coffee roaster and as I passed the local KIA dealer, spotted a GT right out front. Pulled in and discovered there were three total on the lot. White 2.0 T Premium (nah , not interested) and two black over red, the one in front was GT and the other in back was GT AWD badged, 43K and 52K stickers respectively. What the hey, let's go in the showroom, There's a HiChroma Red GT AWD front and center on the showroom floor. Nice enough salesman. He offered a test ride straight away since I was existing client, but I said not today, just looking and the roads are full of Saturday morning traffic anyway. After a bit more chat , he asked for some specifics. I said GT2 in RWD and offered some color choices . He went to check with manager and came back to say that GT2 was available in AWD only. I said that was not what I had read/seen online. So he;s going to check and get back to me. Just an FYI, I've checked KIA web site, built a GT2 RWD, ditto for KIAmedia web site and Car&DRIVER too. What so you ? One more thought, I def want limited slip diff, hence the desire for GT2 package, n/a on GT1.
