3.3TT Broken Off OEM Dipstick

What would the first be?

lol. I never made the list of course. off the top of my head the first of 'the last thing I expected to happen to my stinger', it might be that silly middle panel covering the workings of the rain sensitive wipers, up behind the rearview mirror, it keeps falling off or out of place no matter how firmly I press it back in. I wouldn't even know it existed except it falls off; it was off when I bought the car and I said 'what is this to?' then when I tightened the rearview mirror mounting screw I saw the guts of the wipers sensor exposed and had an instant 'ah hah' moment and put the panel back; it fell out that first time within an hour. sometimes it takes several days to finally fall off again but it keeps doing it. it fell off again today and now sits in my forward cup holder, I forgot to put it back before coming in the house.

I've just purchased a 2nd oem dipstick.
Going to remove the plastic end piece from the original, which is on 50k miles, and run the car with that in place. Then the back up new stick I'll use whenever I have the oil changed.
