I need to get new rotor and brake pad for my 2018 Kia Stinger GT. What brand you guys recommend me to buy?

How do you drive your car? Just daily driving, mountain aggressive curvy road driving, auto cross, or track days?

Daily and some track days

Stock rotors, and stock pads for DD. Swap to a good track pad when doing track days. Don't DD track pads.
Stock rotors are good but the Stock pads are way over priced (and problematic for some)

You're better off aftermarket with the pads. We got a few vendors on here, Like K8 Store that have quality pads and also @EBC Brakes themselves are here as well.

Track days you definitely want a separate set of race pads though, that's really a must for any car that's tracked.

anyone know what brand the pads and rotors on gt2 are ? I need to change mine here in Canada and looking at EBC as well. But how do I know which are comparable to the o.e.m. pads and which are one level better ?
I'm told our pads and rotors are not bembro, but only the caliper is ? if so, what brand are are rotors and pads ? where can I see their specs related to their Avr. Mu, fading, dust rating, etc. etc.. ??

You were told misinformation.
Our pads, and rotors and calipers - are all MFG by Brembo
The Friction rating of the stock pads are FG

there is a very long thread - but these specific posts may be useful

where besides kia can we check the model specs ?
and any pricing by other part shops ?
No idea on how to know if example the EBC red or yellow are similar performance as our brakes or better or ?

Model specs?

The Stock Brembo pads are rated for friction - FG - as seen in the pictures I linked in previous post.
Nothing more.

For comparison VS OEM - you will be left mostly with word of mouth and brand reputation - and the aftermarket sales pitch (our brakes outperform OEM by 72%, on 9 out of 10 track days as reviewed by "insert race car driver name here")

For spirited driving i would recommend the Yellow Stuff, they will perform better than the OEM. Red are a fully organic low dust pad. They work well on sedans for DD and should outperform OEM, but for a real step up go for Yellow.

We have stock on perfect Brakes for the 2.0T model, but currently out of stock for the 3.3TT. I will try to find out when the 3.3TT is back in stock

2.0 T Stinger
