Bought a 2019 Kia Stinger Base

Hey Guys-

just bought a 2019 KIA stinger base of carvana I pick it up next week, is their anything I should look for on it? Keep in mind I’m not a car girl just excited to be able to afford a nicer car like this. I work full time and just got approved for VA disability so was finally able to afford to replace my daily driver.

also I noticed instead of the Kia badge on the hood it has an E? And no Kia logo on the back it just says stinger. Is this good or bad? From what I read it just means it was built on Korea?

Howdy. In 2019 the Stinger dispensed with the KIA badge in back and substituted a larger "Stinger" script centered over the license plate. The "E" was either replaced at the original dealer, or the previous owner did the badge swap; that is a very common cosmetic mod. I reckon you're going to enjoy this "daily driver".

Looks great!! If you want to mod, definitely recommend sway bars. Helps firm up the suspension so you can make tight turns and become more confident with drive quality.

guys- on the site I saw a 2019 GT that has AWD and less miles and the AUTO HOLD(Really nice to have in NW Indiana) so I cancelled my purchase and went for the GT-

Auto Hold has to be really useful anywhere. I use mine 100% of the time.

My ex's CC had it and I LOVED it at first I was confused by it but learned to love it. My payment is going to go up a few hundred dollars so I'm hoping that I enjoy the experience of driving it enough to justify it- The Headlights too make a difference

I studied the Stinger promo book all winter and the first thing on the "must have" list was the 3.3L engine. Then the Harman Kardon 15 speaker surround sound system. Finally the sunroof. Those three landed me on the GT1. LED headlights, AWD, heated steering wheel/seats, tilting/folding mirrors, etc., were all features that I didn't even ask about. I did say that I'd prefer not having any of the safety "nannies", but that wasn't a deal breaker, if I had to take them in order to get a Silky Silver (my wife insisted; easier to keep respectable looking in winter: we had no idea, going in, that I'd turn into a weekly car washing fool!; I just did it last night, finishing up in the almost-dark, with a wind chill at freezing: ice was forming on the rear bumper. Hah).

I think I'm gonna be a Car washing fool with you too lol! I'm excited to pick this up- I Hope the Driving experience makes up for the dread of the payments jk I got approved for VA disability so with the Mortgage a big chunk of the payment will be taken-
