Doel Yes I do agree with you....its subjective for sure ! No it doesn't have to be a v8 to make great sounds....but I havnt heard a decent sound clip yet of the Stinger....and the drone? Why do something to create that noise inside this wonderful cabin of ours?
The lines of the car ,the colors ,and the performance take a backseat when the noise emitting from it sound like a Honda Civic . Im not the sound police ...Ha.. do whatever flips your trigger Wash

A lot of exhausts have little to no drone though, and drone is something that can occur in any vehicle regardless of the number of cylinders, my old LS1 had drone. I've owned N/A 4 bangers, turbo 4s, inline 6s, v6s, ttv6s, na v8s, they all sound different and yes, you can even get an NA 4 banger to sound pretty good (especially if high reving). I've heard some bad Stinger exhausts for sure, but most of them sound nothing like a "civic". One of the best cars I've ever heard was a friend's modified GTR.
