I just purchased the Blackvue-2h with Power Magic Pro hardware kit and was wondering if anyone has installed it and if so could provide any insight/tips/tricks to help make it a smoother install. I have gone ahead and got the fuse taps to go with it as well.
I have a Black Vue 750S 2ch with the Power Magic Pro, bought it and had it installed at Dealership so was the lady went through how to use it before we took car home.It's been great, my hubby stuck the Pro Magic Box on the inside of the fuse box cover so I can just put my finger through and switch it on and off. I switch it off when it is parked in our garage, otherwise it records when driving and keeps recording over the SD card, so with mine I don't have to replace it.
The side button you press to put wifi on, then you go into your phone ( I have an iPhone ) and you go to settings and connect the phone's wifi to Blackvue. You can then go to your Black Vue App on your phone, press Black Vue Wifi and see what it has recorded. If you want to keep any of the recordings you tap on the recording in the upper right hand corner and it goes into Black Vue Memory and you can view it anytime.
You can also take out the SD card and put it into your computer to view that way but I haven't bothered to do that.
In the App you can go on Blackvue Cloud.
Sometimes whilst parked and after I have put groceries etc in the boot and start the car up the silly thing will say " impact detected during parking mode " but that's just because I opened the boot whilst it was locked.
It's funny watching some of the footage, particularly when people are checking the car out

I did watch the video you are referring to....I was just unsure about where to place the pro box (as Ivan has the magic ez)...did people just stick it to the car or screw it in the dash. Do you have the settings switch to 12v 12 hours when in park mode out in the world?

My hubby just stuck the magic pro box on the back of the fuse box cover with double sided tape and it just sticks there.
Yes, the switch is to 12 v when in parking mode.
