I acquired a black Stinger GT via Quirk Kia in Manchester, New Hampshire in early July.

What a fun car! It's got so much pull. I also have a 320 HP twin-turbo Mitsu 3000GT Spyder VR4 and the difference there is amazing, especially considering these cars weight within a few pounds of each other. The Stinger has much smoother power. I barely even notice the turbos kick in. If you are new to a turbo car, this was not normal a few years ago. They've almost engineered the turbo lag out of these things. (Disclaimer, the Spyder is a 95, so that's a lot of engineering time to improve)

I'm also very impressed with the difference in the Stinger's driving modes. Really gives the car multiple personalities.

I test drove Audi, Maxima, MB, Infiniti and the Stinger was an easy pick.

Welcome! Enjoy your new ride! Pictures are a must! Hehehe.

Welcome, enjoy forum.

Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. Yes, they've come a long way with turbos these days. What did the Stinger replace for you? I see you still have your 3000GT. They're such head-turners...

Congrats and welcome! That Mitsubishi was a favorite car of mine back in the day, to bad Mitsubishi isn't doing things like this today.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Brian Schoech. Young guy. Very knowledgeable about the Stinger, in part because his brother, who is finance manager at the dealership, owns one. I had an excellent experience. I've read about a lot of bad experiences from Kia dealers on this board and others but Quirk seems to be doing it right.

Nice to see you on the forums!
Hope the car is treating you well, glad I could help and pass my knowledge on!

I'm glad you finally introduced yourself. Don't be a stranger! ;)

A friend of mine had a red 3000 and back then I thought it was one of the most badass looking cars around. This is not only my first brand new car, it is the only turbocharged car I have owned and only the second one I've driven. The first was a Lancer way back in the 80s. Another friend had just bought it and wanted me to feel the difference between my Impala and his four banger. Well, yeah! That was some difference alright. I've heard about turbo lag, especially since coming here. And I find my Stinger to be gratifyingly instantaneous in her response when I ask her to speed up!
