I think there are a lot of people who encounter this problem, I will try the wax job, I cannot change because I stay in Azerbaijan, the stinger model is very low, I will not cover it because it is similar to the gt line model.

I will try the wax job

You've got your work cut out for you, then. I saw two, count 'em, two, spots that looked like dried hard water: have no idea where they came from, therefore what caused them. In over three years of ownership, I've had nary a spot till those two showed up together. Tried distilled water with ONR; then isopropyl alcohol, then cleaner wax, and finally Meguiar's rubbing compound: that got the spots off, and left me with a patch of "dark" chrome that was no longer dark. :(

Looks like you've got extensive spotting/discoloration. If the pieces are removed, cleaning will be easier because you could use a buffing wheel. Maybe a detail shop would do this?

I took mine off and spray painted them gloss black. looks good finish is not perfect but it looks like the car came that way.

Not too hard to polish with NevrDull or Flitz.

I once tried to polish mine - it made them look worse. I think there's a clearcoat on them. So if you are going to polish them, you'll need to polish off the clear coat, then polish the metal... @StingertimeNC took them off and painted them black - that probably looks excellent too. How the heck do you remove them? I'd be scared that I might break them or bend them or scratch the paint... Could you post pics and a brief "How To"?

I used Mothers Metal Polish. It is a super fine grade rubbing compound and does not contain any metal particles in it so no worries about rusting. Easily done by hand, no need for machines.
That being said, those pieces are fingerprint magnets so make sure when you finish, you take the time to do a quick rub down with a bit of alcohol on a microfiber and you should be in good shape.
