I was washing my car today and the pressure washer peeled off some protective film that I didn't even know was there! Maybe the dealer was supposed to remove this before delivery and forgot to.

Just hoping to help anyone else out that may have the same thing!

Is that really supposed to come off? I can't tell so well from the pictures but I think it looked better ON...

Yup , they missed it , no worries . I havent found any external film but inside I've removed 8 or 10 pieces they missed . New car for them so they are in a learning curve

Yeah I wasn't too sure of the looks myself but I think it was just because I wasn't used to it. The black chrome strip was already exposed next to the rear window, so I'm surprised I didn't notice before that it should go all the way to the front.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Same thing happened to me on my first wash. On my rear driver side I saw about 3” of that cover hanging off. Thought my car was falling apart already. I noticed it was shiny underneath the film and I walked to the other side of the car and noticed that it was off the passenger side rear door, but not the front.

I also noticed the color under the film matched that of the strip going down the back along the trunk. So I figured the dealer just didn’t remove it.

I actually left it on because I think the flat black film looks better. But that’s just me. Eventually I’ll take it off, but for now I’m leaving it on.

I have found about 15-20 different interior pieces still covered and I’ve left them all in place.
