At 8:15 AM on Monday (the 17th), I was 35 miles from home. Started the car and every warning light on the dash came on - Check collision warning system, Check Blind Spot detection system., etc. Mostly nothing worked, but I could select R or D and it would move back and forward, so I started for home without LKA, Cruise Control, etc. My next door neighbor, (at home), got in his Chevy Traverse at 8:15 and all his warning lights came on, but it seemed to be drive able, so he started out on a trip, coincidentally past where I was. We must have met and passed each other at about the 1/2 point of the trips.
At 8:45 tooling up the Interstate, all my warnings cleared, CC worked LKA worked, etc., about 2 miles from home. Also at 8:45 my neighbor was about a mile from where I started my trip and all his warning lights cleared????? Neither of us has had any prior issues with warning lights coming on. In asking around, haven't found anyone else who had any issue and there was nothing on the news, like a UFO sighting, EMP observed, etc. I don't believe in conspiracies, so I'll have to just chalk this up to a strange coincidence. I guess I will have to keep an open mind about whether the Universe plays practical jokes?
