All,

Please allow me to preface that I just registered with this site so I'm currently familiarizing myself with it. I recently purchased a Black on Black 2019 Stinger GT1 AWD. First and foremost, this may be the best "price to performance" vehicle that I've ever purchased. Aesthetically, I removed all badging then put just a South Korean Stinger Racing Badge on the front and rear of the vehicle, along with badging over the wheel hubs (all black with red backgrounds). It is somewhat amusing, as I've never had so many people ask me "what the hell kind of car is this?" I also had the two roof strips behind the sunroof repainted Brembo Red. Additionally, I did black 15% 3M Ceramic tint all the way around with the exception of the windshield, which I did 45% black 3M ceramic tint. As far as performance upgrades are concerned, thus far I've installed Velossa Tech Big Mouth Ram Air Inlets, K&N Typhoon Intakes, and a Borla Type S Catback Exhaust system.

With the above said, I plan to replace the stock turbo bypass valves, intercooler, secondary downpipes, along with either a JB4 tune or proprietary custom tune. This is where I'd appreciate any/all feedback as to what order I should add these modifications, along with any suggestions regarding which aftermarket parts to utilize. From my preliminary research, I'm leaning towards the Turbosmart Kompact Dual Port BPV's, possibly BMS for intercooler, however, nothing really stands out, and ARK or JunBL secondary downpipes, which would obviously bolt on to the Borla CB Exhaust. Now with all that said, should I wait to complete the remainder of the mechanical modifications prior to completing the tune or does it really matter? And speaking of the tune, any thoughts regarding how much more PSI boost that I can safely achieve without "pushing the envelope" so to speak?

Thanks,

BTM

Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. Congratulations on your new Stinger! What did the Stinger replace for you? I'm glad you found us. :)

The best timeline for modifacation would be as you can affprd and when you have time. Nothing behind the catalytic converter will not void warranty intakes and plugs and bov are safe too

Hey BTM,

Welcome to the Stinger forum and congrats on the new Stinger! As far as timeline goes, for most bolt on parts you can add them at your own leisure without compromising reliability. The only part that needs a supplemental modification is the Ultimate Performance Downpipe Combo Kit (click HERE). The Downpipe Combo Kit needs a tune in order to run correctly but its well worth it to stack these two parts together since you gain a lot of power by swapping the primary downpipes. We carry a lot of options for your vehicle at www.K8StingerStore.com and I would be happy to help you narrow down your options and get you set up with a discount. Shoot me a message at any time and I will do my best to help you out.
