I'm just trying to figure out how to get my battery. My car won't take charge. Its sat for 5 months as I've been sick. I know any good battery shouldn't just sit idle for long times. I just want to test it or check the fuse box. Any thoughts?

Welcome, and I hope that you are recovering fully.
I always called out the tow guys to jump start a dead or moribund battery (haven't had to do that for years). Then running on it would fully charge it up again. Trouble is when the battery is, as I say, moribund: no amount of running on it will keep it charged for more than a day or two. I'd come back to start the car even only three days later and there wouldn't be enough juice to turn the engine over (call the tow guys aaagain). Replacement is then the only option.

Battery Tender over night should wake it up.

Welcome. I hope you're fully recovered from whatever kept you sick. In any event, I'm glad you found us. I moved this message into the Stinger area...

Once they die. They won’t fully recover.

Just fork over the $200 for a new one and be done with it.

Not worth having it leave you stranded.
