I don't know if you've had a chance to look at your Stingers charge point yet but it's a little different to any I've had on a car before. The positive terminal is just a piece of metal sticking up and the negative is a bolt that's a good bit away from the positive, sticking out of the inside body panel. So installing the pigtail is a little bit of a mystery to me.I've used one.. I don't leave it on all the time. But if you exit the under the hood towards the windshield there is plenty of room to not pinch the wire and close the hood.
I've literally used the Battery Tender on it as said in my reply.I don't know if you've had a chance to look at your Stingers charge point yet but it's a little different to any I've had on a car before. I should be more clear, that's what we're asking about, is how someone went about installing the ring terminals. Or at least I am, I assumed that's what the OP meant as well but I won't speak for them.I've literally used the Battery Tender on it as said in my reply.
I used the pigtail with the clips. No need to keep the one with the ring terminals on all the time. If you're charging, use the clip types. The ground post is right there by it.
