The other car in the garage is a Pontiac G8GT. If I accidentally leave the key in the ignition but the ignition is off, over an evening and night time it will take a large AGM battery all the way down. I have a nice charger that will take it back to a full charge.

If you were to leave the Stinger key fob in the car, again with no stereo, or whatever does that run the battery down?

The Pontiac also has a 10 min timer. If you leave lights of anykind when on when you exit the car and the ignition is off, the car turns the lights off. Does the Stinger have that? If so, I haven't found anything that suggests it does. Thanks, Don

All the lights go off automatically: with the exception of the visor vanity lights and if you physically turn ON an interior light with the ceiling switch. But that shouldn't drain a healthy battery overnight.

I leave my key in the car, with the car unlocked, and no issues for 2 years.

I'd be more concerned about the car getting stolen with the key inside than battery drain. Around here never know when a nefarious character may be scoping out. Last week someone got car jacked less than a mile from here.

Agreed on the above. Fortunately I'm in a locked garage in a gated neighborhood. Still a chance, but not terrible.
