Bathurst 1000 Bucket List

Sorry for the self indulgence here today, but it’s not everyday you get to do this.
Thanks to an old mate, today I had the privilege to be along for the ride in the Legends & Drivers Parade before the start of this years Bathurst 1000 & I had Bathurst Legend Greg Murphy literally sitting on my left shoulder, what a great morning & experience & one for my bucket list.

He was behind me, long story on that because of who he was carrying I couldn’t fit so I hitched a ride in the red Stingray.

One of my customers told me on Friday that he’s got Scott McLaughlin as the last leg of a 6 leg multi bet. If McLaughlin wins he picks up 28K. So the next 5 laps will be the longest laps of his life.

What a great day, would’ve been a hell of an experience to go around that circuit on race day even if it’s not at race pace. Only question I have is did you try to convince Murph to go round with his head sticking out of the sunroof of your Stinger instead of sitting on the back seat like he was
