Bad coil packs

Here is a photo of a hairy coil pack that caused all of my audio issues (dog had nothing to do with it). Thanks to the users this forum, I was able to figure

this out after having multiple issues with audio drop outs etc. This is the best resource to figure out or make the most of the Stinger experience. Get your coil

packs replaced if you have a stock Stinger pre 2022. Thanks everyone!

Ima touching nothing unless a problem starts up. And that includes changing plugs again. I did so once at c. 45,000 miles, on recommendation, and that was when my problem started. The plugs change did something to one of the coil packs, cylinder 6 if I recall correctly, but no matter. My spanking new plug to cylinder 6 was slowly destroyed by the bad coil pack. It took c. 4,000 miles for the stutter under boost to turn into a CEL. Changed the plug again. Ruined in less than three weeks. Changed the plug a third time AND the coil pack this time, and everything has been fine since. "If it ain't broke don't mess with it." All the stories on the forum over the years about issues caused by fiddling. I won't add anymore.
