Backup camera in now purple and green

Anyone else seen this? Backup camera is not working. This happened a few days ago so I reset the infotainment system. It fixed it, but now it's back. Resetting this time didn't work. Any ideas or is this a dealership visit? On a 2019 GT2
 
I also have a 2019 GT2 with the same intermittent problem. It is happening about 20% of the time I am using the backup camera. Unfortunately, I don't have anything to add as a fix other than to take it to the dealer :(

Had a very similar problem with the front camera. In the driver footwell, pull off the hood release lever and should be able to pull off the trim piece behind (blends into corner of door area). There's two large connectors in there, one for the front half of the car (engine) and one for the back. Camera signals are one of those pins and you can find the wiring diagram on the KGIS site. For me, the camera pin in the connector was loose. Like hear it rattle when shaken. Used a needle to bend it a bit and haven't had an issue since. Was chasing the issue for months.

For reference, a blue screen is what you get with no signal (i.e. disconnect the camera cable in the footwell). So purple is generally signal integrity issue with one of the few connectors not making good connection.
 
Yes this happens with TVs and computer monitors all the time. Must be a loose connector.
 
Just an update on this. I brought it to the dealer several months ago and was told I had to bring it back when it was happening, even though I showed them the above picture. I finally was able to bring it in on March 2nd when the camera was not working. I then had to make an appointment since they expected to need the car for 1-3 days and the service area was two weeks behind. I made the appointment for March 20th. A day before I was suppose to bring the car in, the camera started working again. They were however able to see it stop working while they had it. After 3 days, they told me they have no idea what is going on and have a KIA rep coming to look at the car. I thought this would be a simple fix. Now they have me in a rental and Kia is unsure how long they will have the car.
