Does anyone have any good ideas as to how to remove swirls and light scratches from the black glossy B-pillars?

The trim on the B pillar is plastic so if its scratched there is not a whole lot you can do. The part is like $30 so if it's bad just replace it

Did you scratch it or was it like that from dealer? You stated you ended with a 2017 build so probably has been washed so many times.

I would take it back to dealer and complain.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Take it to a paint correction facility, have them buff the B pillars. Apply 3M clear bra over the top. That is what I have done,.

I’ve rotary polished mine once already with a light swirl polish. They come back really easily so best bet is probably as @Callum said and ppf them.

Pillars should be waxed or ceramic coated which will help with minor scratches and swirl marks.

How are the pieces removed?
