AWD tire rotation pattern

I don't think it matters which engine you have. Probably more wear on the rears with the larger engine ¿?

Anyways, for awd cars, what's the recommended pattern? Owner's manual for my 2.5T shows this for the 18" wheels.

Genesis G70 & G80 shows this for 18"


Tire rack shows

I'm inclined to do the "rearward cross" as that ensures each tire is on each position at least once. X cross just crosses tires back and forth.

It doesn't matter what way you rotate them, but be sure you keep doing the same pattern for the life of the tires.
