Hey all. Started reading the forum a couple months ago. Great job with how to videos and pointers. Rebadged and installed K&N intake thanks to your help. Hoping to tackle the CK71 install next.

Just ordered the K&N typhoon intakes, level 1-10 how easy were they to install? Also ordered the CK71, should be here in January :)

StingerGTandMe‘s YouTube channel was the most helpful:
His video reduced the difficulty level down to around a 3 for me. Wish he was still posting tutorials. I’m a little more nervous for the CK71 just because of the wiring, but the DRL thread makes me think I can do it.

Thanks.
Will read through the DRL thread

I just ordered my CK71's as well. Hopefully installing them goes well.

These were my first mod, I would say they are a 3 out of 10. Everything is really easy to reach. The only issue I had was a hose that was a PITA to get off, same one to get on also. Besides the power gains, the Intakes are definitely fun with the swooshes now.

Thanks for the info. Yes, most excited for the sound!

Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. I’m glad you found us! :)

Howdy. If I see a Stinger with CK71 DRLs, it'll most likely be you. But how likely? Where are you located?

I’m in the south end of the valley. I’m on I-15 between the point of the mountain and 215 quite a bit, though. I’ll keep an eye out for your silver. Haven’t seen many.

I'll be traveling that section, and into Utah County. My son lives in Vineyard.

Just installed the CK71's yesterday! Can not say enough about them and Chris Thomas. I knew about the CK71's since I bought my Stinger almost a year ago, but was hesitant with any electrical mods. When I told him I was ready to give it a shot, Chris drove almost 2 hours to help with the install and he didn't ask for anything in return. He just wanted to help a fellow Stinger owner. What a stud! Highly recommend Chris Thomas and his CK71's! The super cool looking Ceramic Silver is Chris', mine is the Panthera Metal. And not to mention, I am in love with his G4werkz steering wheel, might be my next addition. Funny story-If you know Chris, ask him about his keys.
