Automatic Lift Gate

I mean, you definitely can't slam the auto tailgate. But you can push on it when it gets to the final soft-close stage to get it to press your luggage in and fully close. Otherwise, anything sticking out even in the slightest will cause the tailgate to lift back up.

The first night of ownership I drove it into the garage, walked to the rear and the hatch flew up.
Lucky for me the door was fully up otherwise I could have very well put a dent in the tailgate so I disabled the feature never to have it ever during my ownership.
I'll provide my feedback on the feature and do a minor threadjack too, as it's relevant. I'm in my garage with the door closed, I walked past the rear of my car to get to the driver's side. I had music playing and I'm trying to do 1000 things around the house on my week off and I was clueless to the fact that the hatch opened up. I then proceeded to back my car up into my garage door and busted up the spoiler. The fob was in my backpack not my pocket so I walked past the sensor in time but it still picked it up.

A neat little trick to avoid this in the future (and I wish I did it) is to open it up, and it should open to the maximum height. Manually lower it to your preferred height (or to clear a ******* garage door!) then hold the trunk button until it beeps. It will now only open to that height.

Also, anyone know where I can find an OEM snow white pearl rear deck lid? =( Edit... found the lid, just need it painted I presume. Rear Deck Lid
